Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the Riad was a mix of charm and practicality. The beautiful, cozy, and clean rooms were adorned with pretty mosaic tiles and handcrafts, although they tended to be a bit colder due to the Riad's location inside the cold walls of the medina. The service was exceptionally helpful and friendly, making sure I found my way easily in the narrow streets. The location was very good for exploring Fes, despite the challenge of finding it, especially at night. Dining was a delightful experience, offering delicious and fresh meals. The facilities were well-appointed and added to the overall comfort and convenience of the stay.
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives for me. The rooms were a bit dark and the early morning call to prayer was a bit disruptive. However, the rooms were truly Moroccan and spotlessly clean, just like the pictures online.
My stay at the Riad was truly enjoyable. The rooms were very spacious and clean, providing a great experience overall. The only downside was that they were a bit colder due to the location inside the medina citadel with its narrow streets and cold walls. The decor matched the stylish and clean look seen in the pictures, although it was quite cold on the top floor during the winter.
I absolutely loved my stay at Dar Guennoun! The rooms were comfortable and private with an authentic old-fashioned style that I found very enjoyable. The service, especially from Issam, was top-notch, making my experience even better. The location was perfect, just a minute from a main street, offering both convenience and safety. The dining experience was above my expectations, with delicious and fresh meals. Overall, a fantastic choice when visiting the area.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were tight but clean and nice overall. I particularly enjoyed the royal Juliet room with plenty of space for luggage. The service was exceptional, especially the attentive dinner waiter who made our stay more enjoyable. However, the location was not the safest, which was a downside, despite its convenience for exploring Fes. The dining experience was a hit and miss, with some good but limited traditional Moroccan dishes. Facilities were decent overall.
